Paying for Higher Education [Infographic]

A college degree provides a lifetime of benefits. The knowledge and experiences gained through higher education is valuable, but the earnings of those who hold a degree vastly surpass those without.  As of August 2015 the unemployment rate of those who hold a bachelor's degree or higher was a lowly 2.2% while the national average was over double that at 5.1% according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. College graduates also earn more than the average worker. The median weekly wage for all workers was $839 and workers with a bachelors degree earned $1,101 per week in 2014 (31.22% more).
